Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt could lose a trio of players if they fail to qualify for Europe this season.

Currently, die Adler find themselves eighth in the Bundesliga, and eight points behind sixth. There will be hope that Albert Riera will be able to turn their fortunes around, especially if the seventh becomes a European spot, depending on the result of the DFB Pokal.

However, if they do fail to qualify for Europe, Mahmoud Dahoud, Ellyes Skhiri and Michy Batshuayi could all leave the club in the summer. The departures of all three would make sense as none of them have performed at the required level for some time.

Frankfurt’s other potential departures:

Other players could also leave in the summer, but their future is not as dependent on European qualification.

Farés Chaïbi and Oscar Højlund need to improve their performances and become more consistent. Mario Götze, Timothy Chandler and Jens Grahl’s contracts expire in the summer, but all are important to the makeup of the team off the pitch.

While Nathanial Brown and Hugo Larsson could be Frankfurt’s next big sales. Both have attracted interest from other clubs in Europe.
