Eintracht Frankfurt are finalising exits for Noel Futkeu and Michy Batshuayi in a bid to trim the squad.

According to BuLi News, neither striker is in Adi Hütter’s plans for next season and both have sat out pre-season. Frankfurt finish their preparations against Brentford on Saturday.

Futkeu is set to join newly promoted Elversberg on loan with an option to buy. The 23-year-old returned via a buy-back clause after finishing top scorer in 2. Bundesliga with Greuther Fürth, who required the play-off to stay up. The move is at an advanced stage.

Batshuayi, 32, formerly of Dortmund, has managed only 16 league appearances in 18 months. The Belgian international is set to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab, coached by German Thomas Letsch, and is already in Saudi Arabia for a medical.

Frankfurt are also seeking to move on midfielder Ellyes Skhiri, though discussions with Köln are currently stalled.
