Eintracht Frankfurt's Can Uzun out indefinitely with new thigh injury | OneFootball

Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed forward Can Uzun has suffered another thigh muscle injury. He sustained it during their most recent Bundesliga loss to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, and the 20-year-old is sidelined indefinitely.

No timeframe was given. A similar issue earlier this season kept the Turkish international out for over a month, and he will miss at least the next two matches.

On opening day he set a new club record, then scored in six straight fixtures. He also found the net in each of Eintracht’s first five Bundesliga matchdays this season.

His form then dipped, with a long wait between his fifth goal in September and his sixth in January. The previous thigh problem sidelined him for the whole of November.

Since the start of 2026 he has two goals and an assist in four appearances across all competitions. The Regensburg native had looked closer to his early-season level before this setback.
