MIAMI – The FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 continued on Friday with four Concacaf nations searching for their first set of three points at the Aspire Zone in Doha, Qatar.

Mexico obtained its first win of the Group Stage, while El Salvador earned a historic first draw in the competition.

Haiti 1, England 8

Haiti fell 8-1 to England in Group E at Aspire Zone - Pitch 3 in Doha, Qatar.

Luca Williams-Barnett placed England up in the 1’ before Reigan Heskey doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 14’.

Franco Celestin cut the deficit for Haiti in the 17’, connecting with a header in front of goal with a service from Medinel Zamor.

Reggie Walsh extended England’s lead in the 21’ to send The Young Lions up by two at the half.

The English contingent sealed the victory with goals from Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez (55’), Chizaram Ezenwata (57’, 69’, 80’), and Williams-Barnett (64’).

Haiti will close out the Group Stage against Venezuela on Monday.

El Salvador 0, Colombia 0

El Salvador played to a scoreless draw with Colombia in Group G at Aspire Zone - Pitch 8 in Doha, Qatar.

La Selecta collected its first point in the competition as Oliver Alegria posted nine saves and secured a clean sheet. Jefferson Perla led El Salvador with three scoring attempts.

The Salvadorans improved to 0-1-1 and will seek their first victory against Germany on Monday.

Mexico 1, Côte d'Ivoire 0

Mexico won 1-nil against Côte d'Ivoire in Group F at Aspire Zone - Pitch 2 in Doha, Qatar.

Ian Olvera scored the lone goal of the encounter in the 74’, placing a header to a free kick service from Gael Garcia. Santiago Lopez posted two saves to collect his first clean sheet.

El Tricolor improved to 1-0-1 and trails by one point for the top of the group heading into its final group encounter with Switzerland on Monday.

Honduras 2, Zambia 5

Honduras fell 5-2 to Zambia in Group H at Aspire Zone - Pitch 9 in Doha, Qatar.

Zambia took a three-goal lead in the first half through Kelvin Chipelu (5’), Felix Phiri (14’), and James Sibeene (40’).

Yeison Arriola began Honduras’ comeback effort in the 44’, striking inside the box on a service from David Flores

Flores added a second for Honduras  in the 52’, striking with a header to connect off a throw-in service from Darell Oliva.

Billy Daka (73’) and Abel Nyirongo (88’) regained a strong lead for Zambia to see out the victory.

Los Catrachos will close the Group Stage against Indonesia on Monday.
