Elche take aim at Real Madrid & Kylian Mbappé after La Liga clash | OneFootball

The social media team at Elche have on Wednesday aimed something of a dig at La Liga rivals Real Madrid, and star frontman Kylian Mbappé.

This comes owing to the behaviour of the latter in the meeting between the two sides on Tuesday.

Elche and Real Madrid of course played out a pulsating five-goal clash yesterday evening. When all was said and done in Alicante, the latter emerged triumphant, courtesy of a last-gasp Carlos Espí strike.

The aforementioned Kylian Mbappé, meanwhile, also played a starring role, laying on Espí’s winner after finding the net himself earlier in proceedings.

But as alluded to above, post-match, it was the Frenchman’s actions away from the ball which those behind the scenes at The Estadio Martínez Valero were keen to highlight.

Taking to their official social media platforms, Elche unveiled a pair of photos showcasing a heated exchange involving Mbappé, accompanied by the caption:
