Rennes and Le Havre drew 1-1 at Roazhon Park, lifting the hosts from sixth to fifth while the visitors dropped from 13th to 14th in Ligue 1.
Felix Khonde Mambimbi put Le Havre ahead in the 69th minute, finishing after Rassoul Ndiaye picked him out.
After the introduction of Ludovic Blas, the substitute teed up Breel Embolo to level (86.).
Lionel M'Pasi kept Le Havre in front for long spells with six saves, thwarting a dominant home side.
Stéphanie Frappart oversaw a frantic finish, with a flurry of late Rennes corners, but no winner arrived.
Rennes posted 19 attempts, seven on target, and had 54.4% possession. Le Havre registered seven attempts, four on target, with M'Pasi's workload underlining their backs-to-the-wall display.
