Free since September, Emmanuel Boateng has found a new club. The Ghanaian midfielder has signed with HJK Helsinki.
At 28 years old, Boateng previously played for IF Elfsborg between 2021 and 2023, making 53 official appearances and scoring once. In January 2024, he joined Konyaspor, but his spell in Turkey came to an end last autumn.
HJK confirmed his signing with a contract running until beyond 2026, with an option for an additional year. Fifth in the Finnish league last season, the Helsinki club is counting on Boateng’s experience to bring stability to their midfield.
