Emmanuel Grégoire, elected by the Council of Paris on 29 March, is set to attend Friday’s Ligue one match between PSG and Toulouse at the Parc des Princes.

According to Le Parisien, he will watch from the stands, with kick-off at 20:45.

The visit aligns with a stated aim to ease tensions with the club that have simmered since October 2022, when Anne Hidalgo ruled out selling the stadium. That stance led PSG to study options outside the city, including Massy and Poissy.

The presence of PSG president Nasser al-Khelaïfi for the Toulouse fixture is yet to be confirmed.

During his campaign, Grégoire said he would reopen dialogue with the club and that a potential stadium sale would be on the agenda at a mid-April extraordinary Council of Paris meeting.

A football enthusiast, he is considering returning on Wednesday for the Champions League meeting with Liverpool, scheduled for 21:00.
