Toulouse will have Dayann Methalie back but lose Santiago Hidalgo to suspension for Friday’s 20:45 trip to PSG.

According to L'Équipe, head coach Carles Martinez Novell has scaled back hopes of a full injury return after the international break, with only Methalie fit again after knee pain subsided.

Charlie Cresswell is making good progress but is not ready due to a hamstring problem, while Rafik Messali, ankle, and Frank Magri, knee, are still easing back.

Hidalgo serves a one-match ban after collecting five Ligue 1 bookings. Martinez Novell said Toulouse must be switched on from the first minute, adding that anything can happen at the Parc des Princes. The team arrive after two straight wins, 4-3 at Metz and 1-0 against Lorient.

With a Coupe de France semi-final at Lens on 22 April looming, he wants the side to build confidence whenever possible. He said that if winning in Paris is possible, all the better, otherwise they should quickly move on, then apply the same after Lille, thinking about the next match rather than the last.
