Sport BILD reports that Borussia Dortmund intend to offer injured captain Emre Can a one-year contract to keep him at the club.
The 32-year-old suffered a season-ending cruciate ligament tear against Bayern Munich last Saturday.

Sporting directors Lars Ricken and Sebastian Kehl are said to be preparing concrete talks after his knee surgery, and any proposal would likely come on reduced wages.
Kehl said after the injury, "Emre will receive all our support in the coming months so that he can make a full recovery."
Dortmund’s hierarchy now appear keen to follow up those words with swift action.
