Crucial return, Manchester City welcomes back one of its main men!
End of the wait, Manchester City regains a key starter!
Good news for Manchester City: Algerian international Rayan Aït-Nouri is on the verge of making his comeback. According to the English press, the left-back is set to rejoin full training with the Citizens right after the October international break, following several weeks out with an ankle injury.
Sidelined since late August, Aït-Nouri hasn’t played a single match since August 31 against Brighton in the Premier League. His much-anticipated return is now expected for the clash with Everton on October 18 at the Etihad Stadium—an important fixture in a hectic schedule for Pep Guardiola’s men.
Guardiola is hoping to count on a fully fit and match-ready Aït-Nouri to strengthen his defense, as City prepares for a run of crucial fixtures in both the Premier League and the Champions League. The former Angers player, who has impressed since arriving in Manchester, will be expected to deliver both attacking drive and defensive solidity down the left flank. It’s a perfectly timed return for the Skyblues.
