Endrick in focus as Abner boosts his case at OL and with Brazil

Vinicius Abner has already hit a career-best five goals this season for Lyon, and can operate higher up the pitch, strengthening his case for a Brazil recall.

According to Le Progres, his versatility and recent performances could help him return to selection.

He told a press conference he feels very well, with earlier adductor problems now behind him, and said he is at 100 percent.

That is timely for OL, who need the Brazilian.

He has also recently become a father. He has made 22 appearances so far, fewer than across the whole of last season.

Whether this run persuades the selectors remains to be seen.
