According to Le Progres, Lyon forward Endrick has been recalled by the Seleção for the next international break, with Carlo Ancelotti confirming his inclusion.
France face Brazil on 26 March, raising the prospect of Endrick meeting Corentin Tolisso. That remains uncertain, with Didier Deschamps showing limited faith in the OL captain despite months of strong form.
Endrick’s return comes a year to the day after his most recent cap, his 14th, and he has three international goals.
Ancelotti omitted Neymar from the final list despite an initial preselection, but included the 19-year-old on loan at Lyon from Real Madrid, saying several players, including Endrick, Rayan, Danilo, Gabriel Sara, Ibañez and Bremer, deserve their places based on domestic form.
With six goals since arriving in France, Endrick can legitimately hope to be part of the group that will play the next World Cup this summer.
Further OL call-ups should be known by Friday. Since the start of the season, between 10 and 15 Lyon players, including youth internationals, have departed in each international window.
