Enzo Molebe leaves Lyon on another loan to Lausanne-Sport | OneFootball

Olympique Lyonnais have sent 18-year-old winger Enzo Molebe on a season-long loan to FC Lausanne-Sport in the Swiss top flight.

Le Progres reports that club figures, including Mathieu Louis-Jean and Daniel Congré, remain convinced by Molebe’s potential, yet Paulo Fonseca and his staff have not shown significant interest.

A youth international seen as one of the standout talents of his generation, the academy product, partly developed at Meyzieu, continues his development away from Lyon after a productive six-month stint at Montpellier last season. He rebuilt fitness and confidence there, scoring two goals and providing one assist in 12 appearances.

Lausanne-Sport are coached by Luka Elsner, previously at Amiens, Le Havre and Reims. Their squad includes several former Ligue one players, among them Florent Mollet, Brandon Soppy and Morgan Poaty.

As with his spell at Montpellier, this agreement carries no purchase option, a sign Lyon expect to see him back.

Attention now turns to fellow attacking prospect Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez, left out of the squad to face Sparta Prague, who could follow with a loan.
