Eric Cubilier set to take charge of youth recruitment at Nice | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Eric Cubilier is to become head of youth recruitment at OGC Nice following the exit of Fabien Caballero.

OGC Nice ended its collaboration with Caballero, the former deputy director of the academy and assistant to Julien Sablé, on Tuesday. He had overseen youth recruitment for the past 18 months.

A former player for Nice and Monaco, Cubilier became a scout with Les Aiglons seven years ago. After talks with club management and academy director Julien Sablé, all parties agreed his appointment to lead youth recruitment.

He will retain part of his responsibilities in France within the first-team scouting department.

His signing is due to take place on Friday.
