Christian Eriksen collapsed during Denmark’s friendly against Ukraine, apparently unconscious, prompting serious concern on the pitch.
According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, initial reports indicated he had regained consciousness and received immediate medical attention.

His wife entered the pitch to be with him. Eriksen got to his feet to hug her and hold her hand.
Team-mates formed a circle to protect their privacy as they moved towards an ambulance, prepared to take him from the stadium.
The referee then permanently suspended the match, and the public address system informed supporters it would not resume. It was also communicated that Eriksen was stable given the gravity of the situation.
