Manchester City striker Erling Haaland made sure to celebrate Norway’s latest international success by rewarding his teammates with burgers.

After another standout international performance for Norway, attention quickly drifted from the pitch to an unexpected post-match scene involving their star striker.

Erling Haaland, who once again delivered in front of goal as his country moved to the brink of a first World Cup appearance since 1998, was seen embracing his role as captain in a slightly unconventional – but very fitting – fashion.

Norway’s latest qualifying win stretched their perfect record to seven wins from seven, keeping them clear of Italy in Group I, and Haaland was keen to mark his name onto the scoresheet during the 4–1 win over Estonia, hitting twice in the second half, and adding to Alexander Sørloth’s brace.

The result leaves Norway waiting for formal confirmation of qualification, with Italy’s late goals against Moldova delaying celebrations. But despite the wait, spirits around the national camp have remained high – something Erling Haaland seems keen to maintain.

As reported by The Sun newspaper this week, Erling Haaland was spotted collecting ‘nearly 70 cheeseburgers’ from a delivery driver for his Norway teammates after their 4-1 win over Estonia in FIFA World Cup qualifying.

The Manchester City striker was accompanied by a member of Norway national team staff to aid him with carrying the food delivery, while the 25-year-old’s YouTube content team were also in attendance – hinting at a new video upload being in the works.

Fulham midfielder Sander Berge told Norwegian media channel TV2 on Erling Haaland’s burger order, “It’s a strong performance from the captain!”

Given Erling Haaland’s previous willingness to blend elite athletic content with more light-hearted material throughout his first two uploads to his official YouTube channel, it would not be surprising if this moment becomes part of a wider series following Norway’s journey toward the 2026 World Cup.

His media appearances have often found synergy with club-level narratives too, especially as Manchester City’s staff and players continue to enjoy glimpses into the striker’s off-pitch personality.

Looking ahead, any forthcoming video may also shed light on the atmosphere inside Norway’s camp as they prepare for what could be a historic qualification. With one final match remaining and Italy still mathematically within reach, Erling Haaland may have further opportunities both to score decisive goals.
