West Ham and France defender Estelle Cascarino has launched a rap career with debut single Vocation.
The 29-year-old unveiled the track on Saturday 11 July with a video shot on La Côte d'Azur. According to Le Progres, it is available on streaming platforms.
Born in Saint-Priest, she joined the Olympique Lyonnais academy at 13, then left in 2016 to continue her career in France, Italy and England. She has 18 caps for Les Bleues, and her Instagram bio now highlights music and football.
In Vocation she reflects on her journey and attachment to football. The chorus underlines that playing is her vocation, with football references woven through the lyrics.
The sun-soaked video shows her in the studio, out jogging, on a padel court and by a pool. Football remains in view, including a scene where she watches a match on a big screen.
Cascarino follows a path trodden by former Lyon and Netherlands international Memphis Depay, who has also released rap music alongside his career. The new venture runs alongside her football in England.
