Estudiantes beat Platense 2-1 in the Argentine league with a rotated side, resting almost all regulars ahead of their Libertadores quarter-final second leg against Corinthians.

Only left-back Benedetti kept his place from the first game, having collected a third booking and being suspended for the return. According to Meu Timao, Corinthians are expected to mirror that approach on Sunday.
