Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden and Erling Haaland are the three contenders for September’s Etihad Player of the Month award.

The trio all played major roles in what was a fine month for City, with Pep Guardiola’s side going unbeaten across all five games we played.

The poll is now open – but who gets your vote?

Jeremy Doku

The Belgian winger enjoyed a stellar month with his wing wizardry, dazzling close control and attacking mindset proving key components for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Doku served up player of the match displays in both our 1-1 draw away at Arsenal as well as last weekend’s emphatic 5-1 league victory at home to Burnley.

The 23-year-old also found the target in City’s fine 2-0 opening 2025/26 UEFA Champions League win at home to Napoli where his influence was again a key factor in victory.

A compelling contribution then – but does Jeremy get your vote for September?

Phil Foden

Our Academy graduate was at his creative and incisive best across September and at the heart of so much that was good about City.

He started off in style, summoning up a fabulous display in a dominant 3-0 Etihad derby triumph against Manchester United, with his early header setting City on the road to victory.

That was followed by a superb showing in that victory over Napoli which saw the 25-year-old claim the official UEFA player of the match award.

Foden was on target again in a 2-0 Carabao Cup victory away at Huddersfield and rounded the month off by helping inspire that emphatic 5-1 victory over Burnley.

Another stellar contender then – but does Phil earn your vote for September?

Erling Haaland

Our master marksman earns a second successive Etihad Player of the Month nomination after maintaining his magnificent start to the season.

Erling was in sublime form across the month, starting with a brilliant brace in that 3-0 win against United – then striking against Napoli to become the quickest player to register 50 goals in the UEFA Champions League.

Haaland was also on the mark in our 1-1 draw away at Arsenal before then ending the month as he began – with another sublime brace to round off that 5-1 defeat over Burnley.

The double also took Haaland to 133 City goals in total, moving him into our all-time top 10 pantheon of goalscorers and it also took him to 93 Premier League strikes and meant he has now scored more top-flight goals than any other Norwegian.

Another compelling candidate but does Erling get your vote?
