Europa League winner moves to Salzburg

Jesper Lindstrom joins on loan from Napoli

FC Red Bull Salzburg have strengthened their attack with the signing of Jesper Lindstrom. The 26-year-old Dane joins the Red Bulls on loan from Italian Serie A club SSC Napoli.

Lindstrom developed in his native Denmark at Brøndby IF, where he also made the leap to professional football. In 2021, the right-footed player moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, with whom he won the UEFA Europa League in 2022. After two successful years in the German Bundesliga, he transferred to SSC Napoli in 2023, making 29 appearances. More recently, the attacking midfielder has spent time on loan at Everton and Wolfsburg, among other clubs.
