Evelin Bonifácio was named player of the match after setting up Rafa Andrade’s winner as the Sereias beat Taubaté for their first Paulista F victory. Diario Do Peixe reports that the 18-year-old has already established herself in the senior side despite Sub-20 eligibility.

The match took place at Bruno José Daniel in the fourth round on Friday 17. Marcelo Frigerio’s team climbed to fourth pending the round’s completion, moving to five points with one win, two draws and two defeats, four scored and four conceded.

Evelin said she was delighted with the assist, urged the group to keep working to climb, accepted it will not be easy and dedicated her award to her family.

She recently extended her contract until the end of 2027. Already a regular for Brazil’s youth teams, she was called into Arthur Elias’s senior squad this year and featured in the Fifa Series title.

Born in Peruíbe, she joined Peixe’s academy in 2023 and debuted for the Sereias in a 2-2 draw with São Paulo at Vila Belmiro on 3 September 2025, then scored her first professional goal against Red Bull Bragantino in November. She is sponsored by Nike.

In 2026 she has one goal in four Paulista F matches, two in nine in the Brasileiro A-1, one Copa do Brasil Feminina appearance, three goals and one assist in eight Sub-20 South American games, and two Fifa Series appearances.

The Sereias visit América-MG in the Brasileiro A-1 next Friday 24 at 19:00 at Independência.
