Everton have agreed deals to sign Folarin Balogun and Jack Grealish with both players set to undergo medicals on deadline day.

The Toffees have reached an agreement with AS Monaco to sign Balogun for an initial fee of €45m (£38.5m), with a further €5m (£4.2m) in potential add-ons. Monaco will also retain a sell-on clause for the US international, who has been granted permission to travel for a medical today.

The deal for Balogun will make the 25-year-old the second-most expensive signing in club history, and follows a 19-goal campaign for Monaco in 2025/26. Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Everton have agreed a four-year contract with Balogun.

Jack Grealish is also on his way back to Hill Dickinson Stadium, confirm The Athletic. A frantic deadline day will see Grealish undergo a medical ahead of completing another season-long loan move. Grealish recorded two goals and six assists in 22 appearances last season before a stress fracture in his foot curtailed his campaign.

The 30-year-old will add to Everton's wide options, as the Blues prepare for Iliman Ndiaye's exit in the opposite direction. Ndiaye is set to sign for Manchester City in a transfer worth up to £65m including add-ons.

When is the transfer deadline for Premier League clubs?

The summer transfer window will close for Premier League clubs at 11pm BST on Tuesday 1 September. Deals can still be announced after the deadline with clubs given a two-hour grace period, provided a deal sheet is submitted before the 11pm deadline.
