Manchester City want to sign Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, with the Toffees keen on a deal that would see Jack Grealish head in the opposite direction, according to The Athletic.

The Englishman spent last season on loan with the Hill Dickinson Stadium club, and Everton manager David Moyes wants him back.

Grealish is in talks over a Toffees’ return, and Man City have suggested to Everton a possible deal involving Ndiaye joining them.

Grealish has dubbed the Senegalese international ‘the most skilful player in the Premier League‘ after their time together last term.

Aston Villa are also keen on the Man City star, but he prefers to join Everton.

A straight swap deal could now be on the cards, but it could prove tricky as the two clubs could have different valuations for both wingers.

The Merseyside club were involved in a swap deal earlier this month.

Brennan Johnson joined them from Crystal Palace, while Dwight McNeil moved in the opposite direction.

Another one could happen in the coming days if both clubs can reach an agreement.

Grealish only wants to move to Everton should he leave City this summer, and Ndiaye will fancy his chances of impressing at the Etihad Stadium club.

The opportunity to play in the Champions League would appeal to the Toffees star, and Enzo Maresca will also hope to challenge and win major trophies in his first season with the Sky Blues.
