Everton and Crystal Palace confirm swap of Brennan Johnson and Dwight McNeil | OneFootball

Everton and Crystal Palace confirmed a Premier League swap on Tuesday morning, with Brennan Johnson joining the Toffees and Dwight McNeil heading to the Eagles. Both clubs said in simultaneous statements that the moves had been completed.

Johnson arrives at Goodison Park from Palace, having joined the London club in winter 2026. The Welsh forward did not score during his six-month spell.

McNeil goes the other way to Selhurst Park. The English winger was used in rotation at Everton and did not find the net last season.

Both players have signed contracts until 2030 with their new clubs.

Everton continue to reshape their squad, having already brought in Christian Nørgaard and Tyrique George, from Arsenal and Chelsea respectively.

Meanwhile, Pierre Sage's side are keeping costs down. Only defenders Óscar Mingueza and Takehiro Tomiyasu have arrived as free agents at the club, the winners of last season's Europa Conference League.
