West Ham United and Everton are monitoring the progress of Palmeiras attacking midfielder Allan ahead of a potential swoop, according to Spanish outlet Diario AS.
West Ham and Everton both want to bolster their attacking ranks heading into the second-half of 2025-26 at the London Stadium and Hill Dickinson Stadium, respectively, and the ‘outstanding’ Brazilian has caught their eye.
However, Allan has a release clause of €100 million in his deal as he has four years remaining on his contract, and suitors have to offer something close to it after Palmeiras rejected €20m from Zenit Saint Petersburg and Saudi Arabian clubs last summer.
The 21-year-old has two goals and eight assists in 50 appearances for the Brazilian top-flight club, and both the Hammers and Toffees could do with his services.
West Ham headed into the international break on the back of back-to-back Premier League victories, but manager Nuno Espirito Santo knows there is still plenty of work to be done.
The January transfer window will give the Portuguese the opportunity to strengthen his squad, and recruiting the services of Allan could come in handy.
The versatile Brazilian has averaged 80% pass accuracy, completed 60% successful dribbles, and won 51% of his defensive duels so far this term.
While the Everton target is primarily an attacking midfielder, he also plays as a central midfielder and winger, and Toffees manager David Moyes could be keen to add such a player to his squad if a deal can be struck.
Fulham are also interested in signing Allan, and more suitors will emerge for his services as the Brazilian Serie A season nears it completion in the next few weeks.
Allan could be open to finally leaving for Europe, but he will be desperate to leave on a high by helping Palmeiras win the league title and the Copa Libertadores final.
