WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Toffees this afternoon.
The 18-year-old centre-back has signed on at Goodison Park until summer 2027.
Hobson has been in and around the senior squad for the past couple of seasons. She holds the honour of being the Barclays Women’s Super League’s youngest-ever goalscorer. The defender has developed both in-house at Everton and out on loan at Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest.
After signing professional terms with Everton, Hobson said “I honestly don’t think I can put it into words what it means to sign this contract. I am so, so grateful for this opportunity. It is something I have been working towards since I was a three-year-old Everton fan sitting in the stands.
“I think grateful is the only word I can use to describe it and for everyone who has helped me get into this position and reach this goal.
“Being an Evertonian, I know what it means to be an Everton player and fan. The passion we have towards every single game and every single training session is unmatched.
“Even being a Scouser, there is a togetherness which everyone gets. I hope I can help set the standard of what it means to play for Everton.
“Growing up an Everton fan and playing for Everton for 11 years now, it has always been my dream and I always knew it would happen because in my head there was no other path for me. It was always to be an Everton player.”
After starting the season on loan at Nottingham Forest, Hobson is now competing for minutes back at Everton.
