David Moyes has done an incredible job at Everton since replacing Sean Dyche as their new manager and returning to his old club.
At one point, it really felt like the Toffees might flirt with relegation for yet another season. Such fears have not only been allayed, but also Everton might target a top-ten finish.
They are undefeated in their last seven Premier League games and are growing in confidence.
Moyes, however, will be hoping to get back some of his players from injuries. It will really help the Toffees to achieve their target.
Orel Mangala has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Dwaight McNeil is not a long-term absentee.
Seamus Coleman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are also not expected to return any time soon.
According to a report from the Liverpool Echo, Coleman and Armando Broja have been involved in light training drills.
The Toffees also hope that Iliman Ndiaye will make “serious progress” over the coming weeks, which will give Moyes a huge boost.
The newspaper wrote: “There is a hope Ndiaye may make serious progress over the coming weeks as well, potentially giving Moyes a much stronger hand as we enter spring.”
Everton fans will be excited by the news that Ndiaye is progressing well over his knee injury.
The 24-year-old has been arguably one of the best players for the Toffees this season, and he could develop into a top-class attacker under Moyes.
Ndiaye has scored six goals in 24 Premier League games this season. At times, he has looked the only shining light in the team under Dyche when there was hardly any creative input.
Nathan Patterson has already returned to the first-team squad, and he will be aiming to make an impact.
Everton will travel to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday. The Toffees won 4-0 against Wolves in the reverse fixture at Goodison Park.
