Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye (26) is reported to have made Manchester City his preferred destination should he leave before the transfer window closes, according to French media outlet Foot Mercato.
The two clubs, who may well find themselves doing business over the Jack Grealish (30) deal, are said to have already begun talks regarding the Senegalese player. Reports suggest these talks are progressing well.
Having returned to England two years ago following a disappointing spell at Olympique de Marseille (four goals and five assists in 46 appearances), Ndiaye has made a brilliant return to the Premier League. Having scored nine league goals in the 2024-25 season, he once again proved decisive on nine occasions (six goals, three assists) during the 2025-26 campaign.
At 26, and with his contract running until 2029, Ndiaye now appears ready to take the next step in his career – and to switch from blue to sky blue.
