Everton host Wolves tonight while they aim to recover from back-to-back home defeats.
David Moyes’ side has moved into the bottom half of the table following a chaotic 4-2 loss to Brentford at the weekend. Despite a resilient away win at Nottingham Forest recently, the Toffees have struggled to maintain defensive solidity on their own patch. Moyes will be looking for a response from his senior core to ensure they do not slip further towards the relegation battle.
David Moyes manages a significantly thinned squad due to international duty and a growing injury list. Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye are both unavailable as they represent Senegal at AFCON. Additionally, defensive mainstays Jarrad Branthwaite and Seamus Coleman remain out with hamstring injuries. Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is also a confirmed absentee with a similar issue.
On a positive note, Michael Keane is fit to continue in the heart of the defence alongside James Tarkowski. Merlin Röhl is pushing for a recall to the starting lineup after dropping to the bench in the previous match. Jack Grealish, who has already provided six assists in his debut campaign for the club, will be the primary creative outlet. He is expected to support a frontline featuring Thierno Barry and potentially Tyler Dibling.
Everton predicted XI: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Iroegbunam, Garner; McNeil, Röhl, Grealish; Barry
