Exclusive | Lille’s bid for Goztepe forward Juan rejected | OneFootball

Lille OSC have been in the market for a centre-forward since Hamza Igamane suffered an ACL injury during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final. 

With the end of the transfer window nearing, those efforts have been stepped up. One of the players that featured high on LOSC’s shortlist was Juan (23). The former Brazil youth international has been having a strong season at Turkish side Goztepe. The striker has nine goals in four games for the club, who are riding high in fourth in the Super Lig.

And Get French Football News understands that he will see out the season at Goztepe, at the very least. Lille’s interest in the forward translated into a €15m, we understand. However, this bid has been rejected. 

In light of the failed attempts to land Juan, LOSC will therefore turn to alternative targets. The Ligue 1 side are expected to complete the signing of former AJ Auxerre forward Gaetan Perrin and Toulouse FC forward Noah Edjouma.
