Oscar Gloukh is one of the most talented young players on the planet right now, so it should come as no surprise that there are a number of top clubs within the Premier League keeping a close eye on his progress. A truly startling season last year saw him reach nine goals and 18 assists in all competitions.
Gloukh signed from Macabi Tel Aviv in January of last year for a fee of around €7m. Salzburg are fully expected to double that total this summer if they end up selling the player, and we understand Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United among the clubs within the Premier League showing significant interest.

The player would be open to a move to England should a concrete offer arrive, and his future is anticipated to look a bit clearer after the EURO 2024 tournament, when the transfer window is likely to come alive.
Manchester United will be aware of the need to begin the replacement plan for Bruno Fernandes, and replacing his creative numbers is not an easy task to do. Gloukh’s statistics are very impressive for his age when it comes to creativity, and he’s one of the players the club has earmarked to potentially replace the Portugal international.
Liverpool could have an upper hand in the race due to their former assistant manager, Pepijn Lijnders, taking over at Salzburg this season. Gloukh could fit in as the ten in Arne Slot’s expected 4-2-3-1 system at Liverpool, but there has been no formal offer as of yet. Arsenal are another club tracking the player, with all three clubs expressing their interest in recent months.
Arsenal’s recruitment team have also highlighted the player as a potential future signing. As of right now, there is nothing concrete in regards to the player in terms of offers, but there have been discussions with RB and interested clubs within the Premier League in the past.
His best position is as a number ten, but he’s versatile enough to play in a number of positions across the midfield, as well as on the wings. Salzburg’s reputation as a selling club points towards the fact that Gloukh could very well be on his way in the upcoming window, following similar career paths to the likes of Erling Haaland, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Benjamin Sesko before him.
Gloukh has a contract until June 2027 and a current market value of €25m.
