Monaco midfielder Maghnes Akliouche has long been a target for PSG, and now it seems like the Parisians are ready to make a move.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that PSG are getting into gear to try and sign rising star Maghnes Akliouche.

The Italian transfer insider says that the France international is “expected to be among the next stars to move this summer” with “talks and approaches intensifying.”

Akliouche’s club Monaco “expect bids soon.” They will be hoping for a pretty massive fee considering the talent’s age and ceiling, and the calibre of his suitors.

PSG try to seal deal for latest top French talent

Like all young players who shine in Ligue 1, Akliouche has been on PSG’s radar for a while. He looks like such an exceptional talent that they won’t let him slip by – the only danger would be a Premier League team coming in and offering silly money for him.

At this stage, however, PSG are in the driver’s seat, and if they “accelerate” as Romano expects, they could wrap this deal up pretty quickly. Then come the questions about the midfielder’s pathway to first team minutes, given the talent already in Luis Enrique’s squad.
