The FA has reacted after Wednesday's game between the England and Venezuela U17 sides was stopped due to reported racist abuse.
The game was paused twice after alleged racist abuse during the friendly that was being played in Duisburg, Germany with the referee having to deal with the incidents.
"We are aware of disturbing reports of racism towards England players at our MU17 match against Venezuela played in Germany today," an FA spokesman was quoted as saying..
"This is being treated with the utmost seriousness and our priority is to support our players and staff.
"We are in ongoing discussions with tournament organisers and the relevant authorities about next steps."
England eventually went on to win the game with goals from Metz' Brian Madjo and Chelsea's Ryan Kavuma-McQueen.
