Fabian Ruiz doubtful for PSG’s Classique against OM as caution considered | OneFootball

Fabian Ruiz remains a doubt for Paris Saint-Germain’s Classique against OM at 20:45 on Sunday because of a left knee contusion.

According to L'Équipe, the current leaning is to err on the side of caution, and on Friday the expectation was that he would not be involved. He has not played since the 1-2 defeat at Sporting Portugal in Lisbon on 20 January.

PSG were off on Tuesday and Wednesday, then resumed preparations on Thursday afternoon. They trained on Friday morning, with a final session scheduled for Saturday at 11:00.

They will be without Achraf Hakimi, who has been given a one-match ban, with a further game suspended, following his red card at Strasbourg (2-1) last weekend.

Elsewhere, Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia remains in recovery from a right ankle sprain sustained against Newcastle on 28 January, a game that finished 1-1.
