Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabián Ruiz (30) has reiterated his desire to finish his career at Real Betis, with the Spain international maintaining a strong connection to his boyhood club. Speaking ahead of Spain’s meeting with Croatia in the UEFA Nations League, Ruiz once again expressed his affection for the Andalusian side, admitting that he still follows their matches closely.“I’ve always said it, I try to watch all their matches and I’m happy with their good results. I’m a Betis supporter, everyone knows that,” the Spanish international said.

Ruiz to join Betis?

The midfielder then made clear that a return to Seville remains an ambition for the future. “I would like to finish my career here. It’s not the time, but it will surely happen in the future,” Ruiz added. The 30-year-old also recalled Betis’ memorable 5-3 derby victory over Sevilla in January 2018, when he scored his first goal in the fixture. “It was magical,” he said. “I hope we can do as well tomorrow.”
