Fabiani in Croatia as Lazio table €10m offer for Sergi Dominguez | OneFootball

Angelo Fabiani has travelled to Croatia as Lazio work on a move for Dinamo Zagreb defender Sergi Dominguez. He was seen in Split on Thursday morning, Calciopitolino.it reported.

Lazio need at least one new centre-back after agreeing a €30 million deal with AC Milan for Mario Gila. Alessio Romagnoli has long had the green light to complete his switch to Al-Sadd.

Il Messaggero reports Dinamo are seeking €15 million, including bonuses, and that Barcelona will receive a 20% sell-on fee. The same report adds Lazio’s current offer is around €10 million.

Il Messaggero says the gap between valuation and offer has prompted an in-person meeting between the clubs.

Dominguez, 21, came through Barcelona’s La Masia and left last summer for a bigger role. He became a regular in his first season at Dinamo, delivering two goals and four assists in 41 appearances. His performances helped the club secure the domestic double.
