Fabregas agreed clause that favours Arsenal appointing him as their manager

Cesc Fabregas would love to manage Arsenal in the future and has ensured that Como cannot prevent him from pursuing that ambition by including a clause in his contract with the Italian club. The former midfielder enjoyed an excellent spell with the Gunners after they signed him from Barcelona’s La Masia and allowed him to develop.

Fabregas is now regarded as one of the leading young managers in Europe, having guided Como to impressive results in Serie A. However, it seems inevitable that he will eventually outgrow the Italian club. He may already have reached that point, although the former midfielder is not in a hurry to take the next step in his career.

Fabregas Includes Release Clause

Should Arsenal or one of his former clubs want him to become their manager, Chris Wheatley reveals that Fabregas included a clause allowing him to leave Como for a small release fee. That provision would enable Arsenal to appoint him without facing significant complications if the opportunity arises.

The clause is a clear sign that Fabregas is preparing for a possible return to the Emirates in the future. By securing the agreement in advance, he has made sure that a move back to north London would remain an option if the right circumstances develop.
