Facundo Buonanotte ‘set to leave’ Brighton amid Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga interest

According to Fabrizio Romano, Facundo Buonanotte is set to leave Brighton, with Schalke 04 making a formal approach and clubs from the Premier League and La Liga interested.

The Argentina-capped attacking midfielder, 21, spent the second half of last season on loan at Leeds after joining in January. He made four appearances totalling 82 minutes.

He came off the bench in January’s Premier League matches against Everton and Arsenal.

His only start arrived in February’s FA Cup tie at Birmingham City, where he struggled and was withdrawn at half-time.

Buonanotte’s final Leeds outing was a 12-minute cameo in the season finale at West Ham. He then returned to Brighton, where he is under contract until the summer of 2028.
