Fagrie Lakay continued to catch the eye as he provided a crucial assist in Ceramica Cleopatra's one-all draw with Wadi Degla FC in the Egyptian Premier League.
The South Africa international set up Ayman Mukka in stoppage time after Hussein Al Sayed had put the ball in the back of his own net in the hour mark.
Cleopatra's title charge has taken a major setback as they are now winless in their last three league outings.
Lakay's team sits fourth on the log standings, having accumulated 37 points in 19 matches, and trail log leaders Zamalek SC with three points, albeit played one game more.
Meanwhile, the former Cape Town City attacker has six goal contributions in his last seven appearances, with his overall tally at five goals and four assists in 22 games this season.
Lakay,28, will be eager to maintain the momentum when Cleopatra welcome National Bank on Thursday, 04 March.
