With the 2026/27 Bundesliga season fast approaching, here are the forwards to consider for your Fantasy Bundesliga squad from day one.
According to BuLi News, budget picks include Paderborn’s Stefan Marino at 2.49m, a likely starter who produced 10 goal involvements in 32 league matches last term and scored in the 4-2 DFB-Pokal win at Phönix Lübeck. Eintracht Frankfurt’s Younes Ebnoutalib, 3.37m, looks set to begin as a starter, having played 90 minutes and registered a goal and an assist in the 5-0 cup victory over SC St. Tönis.
RB Leipzig’s Tidiam Gomis, 4.5m, assisted in the 6-0 win at Eintracht Trier and could keep his place against Gladbach if Romulo is not fit. Union Berlin’s Livan Burcu, 4.94m, aged 21, is expected to start on the left and could push on this season.
In the mid-range, Hoffenheim’s Adam Hlozek, 9m, is fully fit after missing most of 2025/26 and has a strong chance to lead the line. Bayer Leverkusen winger Afonso Moreira, 9.75m, impressed in pre-season and set up a goal in the 4-0 cup win over Wehen, with favourable early fixtures against Elversberg, Union Berlin and Augsburg.
Mainz striker Philip Tietz, 10.51m, hit four in a 9-0 DFB-Pokal win over Krischow and opens the league at home to newly-promoted Paderborn.
Among premiums, Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick, 18.38m, hit a May hat-trick in a 4-1 win over RB Leipzig and remains their No 1 despite Christian Kofane’s challenge, starting against newly-promoted Elversberg. At Bayern, Luis Diaz is 28.77m, almost 10 million cheaper than Harry Kane, making him a viable alternative or partner. Kane, 38.11m, scored 36 in 31 Bundesliga games last season, including three hat-tricks and six braces, so leaving him out is a gamble.
