This weekend is set to be the biggest Double Gameweek of the 2025-26 FPL season with six clubs playing twice in Gameweek 33.

Manchester City, Chelsea, Leeds, Bournemouth, Brighton, and Burnley all have two fixtures, maximising the chances of massive hauls for FPL bosses.

Ahead of the transfer deadline, we’ve profiled five players who you should target for transfers in before the deadline.

Nico O’Reilly – Manchester City (£5m)

Gameweek 33 fixtures: Arsenal (H), Burnley (A)

With Erling Haaland (60%) and Antoine Semenyo (57%) already the two most-owned players in FPL, we’re recommending Nico O’Reilly for those targeting a Manchester City triple-up.

The 21-year-old is the form FPL player in the Manchester City squad, with three double-digit hauls in his last six games. Listed as a defender in FPL, O’Reilly’s move into a box-crashing midfield role has seen him flourish. He’s picked up four goals and three clean sheets across the last six gameweeks, averaging 8.6 points per game. He also netted both goals in the 2-0 Carabao Cup final win over Arsenal, ahead of a crunch clash with the Gunners in the league this weekend.

O’Reilly picked up an injury at Chelsea last weekend but has trained this week.

Rayan Cherki – Manchester City (£6.3m)

Gameweek 33 fixtures: Arsenal (H), Burnley (A)

Fresh from a 10-point return at Chelsea last weekend, Rayan Cherki will be a target for FPL managers this week. The Frenchman has been a pleasure to watch this season, with his maverick qualities adding a new edge to Manchester City.

Though his minutes are not guaranteed – he’s started in 15 of his 26 league appearances – Cherki is a production machine when on the pitch.

He’s averaged a Premier League goal or assist every 106 minutes.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin – Leeds United (£5.6m)

Gameweek 33 fixtures: Wolves (H), Bournemouth (A)

It’s fixtures over form for Calvert-Lewin, whose impressive season at Leeds has slowed. He’s not scored in his last six league games, but Leeds’ upcoming fixtures offer encouragement.

First up are basement boys Wolves at Elland Road, a fixture Leeds will have targeted to pull further clear of relegation trouble. Buoyed by an upset of Manchester United on Monday, Leeds will be confident of another three points. Leeds then travel to Bournemouth, with both the Cherries and Wolves among the Premier League’s top three teams for big chances conceded across the last four games.

Calvert-Lewin has been a magnet for chances this season, with only Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago posting higher xG figures than the Leeds striker.

Cole Palmer – Chelsea (£10.5m)

Gameweek 33 fixtures: Manchester United (H), Brighton (A)

Chelsea face a defining week with back-to-back clashes against European rivals. The Blues are in poor form after three consecutive Premier League defeats and need something from their key players. Cole Palmer fits that bill and faces Manchester United and Brighton in GW33.

Palmer’s season has been disappointing, but he’s scored five goals in his last eight Premier League games, adding an assist. Interestingly, he also met the defensive contributions threshold to earn two bonus points last time out.

Marcus Tavernier – Bournemouth (£5.3m)

Gameweek 33 fixtures: Newcastle (A), Leeds (H)

With low ownership and high attacking potential, Marcus Tavernier could be the ideal differential for FPL managers aiming to climb the ranks this week.

The Bournemouth winger leads his teammates for chances created and shots since returning from a hamstring injury in February. He also has a share of set-pieces, including penalties, having netted two spot-kicks in 2025-26.

When is the FPL deadline for Gameweek 33?

The Gameweek 33 deadline is Saturday 18th April at 11am BST.
