Farioli calls up four Under-17 World Cup winners for Porto’s Algarve camp

FC Porto begins this Tuesday, in the Algarve, a pre-season training camp lasting four days. Francesco Farioli has expanded the squad and called up several young players, including four who became European and World U-17 champions with Portugal.

According to the newspaper A Bola, Martim Chelmik, Bernardo Lima, Mateus Mide, and Duarte Cunha will be with the main team in the coming days. Only Yoan Pereira is left out of Francesco Farioli’s plans, due to an injury suffered while playing for the B team, which makes him unavailable.

The call-up highlights the presence of Bernardo Lima, who has already participated in several first-team sessions, the most recent being the open training held on January 1.

The training camp will take place from January 6 to 9 at Quinta do Lago, in Almancil.
