FC Andorra block CD Castellón fans after away end sells out | OneFootball

FC Andorra have told CD Castellón they will not sell tickets to away supporters outside the visitors’ section and will not open online sales for Sunday 11 October, 14:00, leaving travelling fans facing far greater hurdles.

CD Castellón publicly opposed the move, the club said in a statement that both sets of supporters should be able to share stands as they do at SkyFi Castalia.

The decision followed the 200 away-end tickets selling out within minutes on Thursday, pointing to a sizeable travelling support. Enthusiasm had surged due to Andorra’s relative proximity, Castellón being league leaders, and the October bank holiday.

Many had begun arranging the trip without an away-end ticket, expecting to buy seats elsewhere in the ground as happened last season. Andorra have now ruled out purchases in home areas too.

With numerous supporters already planning to travel, Castellón advise fans not to go without an away-section ticket. The club cannot guarantee entry to those holding seats in other areas or seeking alternatives.
