At the start of this season, Ansu Fati is on fire with AS Monaco. The FC Barcelona prodigy is currently leading the Ligue 1 top scorers’ table.

On Sunday, AS Monaco managed to salvage a draw against Nice (2-2) in Ligue 1, thanks to a brace from Ansu Fati. However, this draw still feels insufficient for Monaco, as the young Spanish sensation Ansu Fati himself pointed out.

"We know we have to improve. We knew we had to come back and at least secure the draw. (...) The game was a bit slow, we weren’t playing the way we wanted. Of course, I’m not happy because we didn’t win, but we’ll keep working, get some rest, and come back stronger," reacted the former Barcelona player after the match.

With his brace from the penalty spot, Ansu Fati now sits at the top of the league’s scoring charts.
