FC Barcelona is already preparing for the post-Robert Lewandowski era. As the summer transfer window approaches, the Catalan sporting management, led by Deco, is actively working to bolster the attack with a new number 9 who can establish himself as the club’s next offensive reference point.
Among the profiles being considered, two names stand out in the Blaugrana board’s discussions. The first is Julián Álvarez. The Argentine striker and World Cup winner with the Albiceleste impresses with his mobility, goal-scoring instinct, and ability to thrive in a dynamic attacking system. Despite relatively modest stats this season, his profile remains highly valued in Catalonia.
The other prestigious option is Harry Kane, currently at Bayern Munich. The English striker remains one of Europe’s most feared forwards, though his age raises some internal questions. Beyond these two priorities, other options such as Victor Osimhen and Omar Marmoush are also being evaluated, while the trail leading to Dusan Vlahovic has already been ruled out by the Catalan club.
