FC Barcelona secured its qualification against Albacete in a hard-fought battle, driven by the brilliance of Lamine Yamal, once again decisive. It was a narrow but sufficient victory, also highlighted by a last-ditch clearance from Gerard Martín, who spared the Blaugrana from extra time.

In the aftermath, the Catalan press didn’t miss a chance to twist the knife. Mundo Deportivo reminded everyone that Barcelona triumphed where Real Madrid had stumbled just weeks earlier, still stinging from their shock elimination at the hands of the same opponent.

"I understand these things can happen, but what we don’t want is for it to always happen on one side and then be corrected. There are some very obvious situations. I made a joke about diving, but I just watched the match and, aside from the fact I don’t know where those nine minutes of stoppage time came from, I saw plenty of situations where players are already getting used to throwing themselves down, to give the impression they’ve been fouled."
