FC Bayern have agreed a long-term contract extension with Germany Under-19 international Cassiano Kiala. The 17-year-old defender moved to the FC Bayern Campus from Hertha BSC in the summer of 2024 and made his debut for Vincent Kompany’s first team in a 4–0 win at Heidenheim last December.

FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund: “We have high hopes for Cassiano and want to gradually integrate him into our first team. He's the second-youngest player to make his debut in the history of the FC Bayern first team, has already taken on responsibility as captain of the Germany Under-17s, and has everything it takes to carve out a career at FC Bayern. He was hampered by injuries last season – now we’re looking forward to taking the next steps with him.”
