FC Bayern and LONGi seal international partnership

FC Bayern have agreed a partnership with LONGi, a world-leading provider of photovoltaic technology. The contract will run until summer 2028. The cooperation was announced at a press conference in the Rosewood Hotel Hong Kong as part of FC Bayern's "Audi Summer Tour."
Rouven Kasper, FC Bayern board member for marketing & sales, said: “FC Bayern is synonymous with excellence on the pitch. Alongside LONGi, we’re united by a shared drive for excellence and a genuine commitment to building a more sustainable future. We look forward to partnering with this global industry leader to keep renewable energy firmly in the spotlight.”
Zhong Baoshen, Chairman and General Manager of LONGi said: “FC Bayern and LONGi come from different worlds, but we are driven by the same instinct: to continuously improve, to keep challenging ourselves, and to never see success as an endpoint. Football connects millions of people, and energy affects every single one of them."
The partnership is global in scope and covers activities in particular in China, Europe, and North America. LONGi will already be present during the current "Audi Summer Tour" on the stadium's LED perimeter boards at the match against Europa League champions Aston Villa in Hong Kong.
LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is considered a world market leader in photovoltaic technology, ranking as one of the biggest solar module producers globally, too. The company was founded in 2000; its headquarters are in Xi’an (Shaanxi Province, China), and its European headquarters are in Frankfurt am Main. Longi has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2012. The company employs more than 60,000 people world-wide, and in 2025 its turnover stood at around €8.5 billion.
