FC Porto returned to training on Wednesday after two days off, starting preparations for Rio Ave with five players still on the club’s medical bulletin.

According to O Jogo, Nehuén Pérez and Jakub Kiwior worked on modified training programmes, while Martim Fernandes was in the gym and receiving treatment.

Luuk de Jong continued treatment and Samu, who has already undergone surgery, also remains on the medical bulletin.

Francesco Farioli drafted in defenders Gabriel Brás and Dinis Rodrigues and midfielder André Oliveira from the B team for the session.

The round 23 league fixture is on Sunday at 20:30 at the Dragão.
